This lamp tells a circle story. Years ago, the Curious Peddler operated a booth at a trade show right next to a professor who specialized in Bradley & Hubbard lamps like this one. She was smitten by their design and appreciated the warmth and charm they seemed to radiate.
When this one became available, she held her breath until she knew she would be able to get this B & H lamp for the Curious collection.
One of the most recognized names in lamps, Connecticut’s Bradley & Hubbard began creating very special fixtures in 1854. Note the reticulated edge around the bottom of the slag glass, a term collectors use for pressed opaque glass with colored streaks.
