One of our favorite friends is gone. Our Coffee Can girl, one of the fabulous creations by Bill Finks of New York, left us a couple of days ago. We’ve enjoyed her company for a while now.
You could wind up the bird on her finger and it would vibrate. Her arms would move up and down and her legs swung to and fro. She was adorable to look at, fun to watch, and she provided lots of conversation with people browsing through the store.
We’re happy she’s found a home with a great couple, but we really will miss her.
By the way…The Peddler is off soon on another shopping trip, and there’s a good chance that more incredible creations will appear soon.
