This lovely Craftique side table could be the piece de resistance you’ve been searching for. It is solid mahogany, and is enhanced by an inlay of ebony and crotch mahogany. In case you’re curious, crotch mahogany is wood from the crotch or base of the tree where two branches meet. It’s easily distinguishable because of the distinctive irregular patterns.
On this gorgeous side table, you’ll find a numbered brass label underneath the table, which means it was created after the LP Best era. Our best guess is that it was made in the 1990’s, but we’re unsure.
However, we are sure that not many were made like it, and it’s beautifully crafted with the original hardware intact. A Craftique booklet is included so you can learn more about the company, this particular piece of exceptional furniture, and why it might be a highly coveted treasure.
