Step into the parlor, my dear. Would you like a cup of tea? These early American Craftique chairs beckon us to a slower pace, a different era.
There’s not a date on these two chairs; but we’re pretty sure that they were created in the early Craftique years. The “Early American” style was patterned after furniture from the 1800’s. We do know that in the 1950’s, the “Early American” decorating style enjoyed a renewed surge of popularity, but truly it’s never gone out of style.
You’ll see that the cushions on these chairs are showing wear, but they could easily be recovered. Or if you like, you could talk to us about recovering it for you with the fabric of your choice. We can even Scotchguard them for you.
These chairs were only manufactured for a short time in the early years. Today they’re a rare find, and right now, the Curious Peddler has four side chairs and two arm chairs as pictured in stock.
If you’ve found yourself envisioning exactly where these chairs might fit perfectly in your home, drop by and take a look. You mustn’t dawdle, my dear, because once they’re gone, you truly can’t re-create history.
Chairs are numbered #590 and #591. More info…
