They don’t make textiles the way they used to! We have quite a few of these old textile thread and yarn spools at The Curious Peddler, and we recently asked our Facebook fans how they would use them…
•Hat stands to display vintage hats!
•Screw them into the wall and make towel/jewelry/scarf holders
•You could cut out foam egg crate or wind them with fabric and make custom paint rollers for some possibly interesting patterns/effects/faux finishes
•Use them for my hand spun yarn leaving
•Simply line them up as decor
•Small plant stands; you could paint the wood to match whatever
•Candle holders/candlesticks
