This Queen Anne lingerie chest is made of mahogany, beautifully finished in Old Wood stain. It was first called a lingerie chest because the tall, narrow pieces with its smaller drawers accommodate small pieces, like ladies’ undergarments and nighties.
Not a ladies-only piece, the handsome chest was often sold to men through the years, to neatly store things like socks, handkerchiefs and underwear.
We believe the 7-drawer chest was mostly likely manufactured in 1987. This particular model was crafted the entire time that Craftique was in business, and it’s remained popular through the years.
